The Real Cost of Rescue:
 

At PFA, we are a private, self-funded organization. Unlike big government programs, we don’t have taxpayer money or massive grants. That means every mission, every patrol, and every rescue is powered directly by donations like yours — and by operators who often pay out of their own pockets.

Here’s the honest breakdown of what it really costs to fight this battle:
 

• Gas for Missions - One weekend cyber patrol or rescue operation can easily cost $130+ in fuel for a single operator (as our guys regularly spend). Multi-vehicle teams on longer operations quickly push that to $400–$800.

• Hotels & Travel - When we travel for rescues, stakeouts, or school board presentations, hotel stays add up fast - often $150–$300 per night per operator.

• Safety Equipment & Body Cams - Body cameras (critical for legal protection on every operation) cost $200–$600 each, plus storage and replacement. Vests, radios, flashlights, and other gear add hundreds more per operator.

• Online Cyber Patrols - Hours of screen time monitoring dark corners of the internet, specialized software, VPNs, and multiple devices. Our operators regularly spend 10–20+ hours per patrol.

• Admin, Training & Logistics - Background checks, training, communications, and coordination so we stay in safety and legal compliance.

• Healing & Restoration - Every rescued child we help eventually needs safe housing, therapy, education, and medical care as we build toward our full campus.
   

Your donation doesn’t disappear into overhead. It puts gas in the truck, keeps body cams recording, pays for hotel rooms during multi-day rescues, and helps us keep operators in the field identifying and rescuing trafficked children. When you give $50, you’re helping cover fuel and equipment for real patrols. When you give $250, you’re directly supporting a full weekend operation that can intercept multiple predators. Every dollar stays in the fight because the kids can’t wait for bureaucracy. This is boots-on-the-ground rescue work.
